Risshi Tandon is an architect who moved to Nive village to live slower and more sustainably. He set the chalets into the slope so every window looks out on a tree or a ridge. He and Mrs. Tandon still run the place themselves, and guests write about them by name.

JV Cottages hosts up to 30 guests: birthdays, anniversaries, bachelor's and bachelorette's parties, corporate offsites, yoga and meditation workshops. You get the chalets, plunge pool, games room and lounges. We plan the menu with you and make small keepsakes for everyone.

Check-in is at 12:30 pm and check-out at 10:30 am.
Breakfast and dinner buffets are included. Lunch and à la carte cost extra and need 1.5 hours' notice. There's no in-room food service. Tell us about toddlers' food or any dietary needs when you book.
Barely, and guests say that's the best part. There's free Wi-Fi on the property for anything that can't wait.

Only an Aadhaar card or a driving licence is accepted. Smoking and inflammable items aren't allowed in the rooms.
Full payment is taken at booking. Cancel 7 or more days before check-in and 50% is deducted; cancel within 7 days and 100% is deducted. Refunds take 7–10 working days.
